Whenever the left fails to get their way, they typically end up lashing out in one way or another. Sometimes, lashing out means wrongly accusing conservatives of racism; in other cases, it entails rioting in the streets, shutting down right-wing social media users, or even having temper tantrums on congressional floors.

On Friday, House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez broke down over the coronavirus stimulus bill. Apparently, the legislation didn’t live up to the socialist congresswoman’s utopian fantasies, prompting her to scream and flail about “greed” and “corporate bailouts,” according to Townhall.

What to Know About AOC’s Breakdown on the House Floor

Rather than putting partisan politics aside and focusing on American families, Ocasio-Cortez chose to make the stimulus bill all about her.
After slamming the Senate majority for supposedly prioritizing a corporate bailout with “few strings,” the New York socialist continued her rant. This time, she censured the “shame” of “greed” and somehow implied that the coronavirus stimulus bill would only contribute to “income inequality” in America.

During her breakdown over the COVID-19 relief bill, the congresswoman failed to mention the American families, small businesses, and employees who will receive aid. It appears as though Ocasio-Cortez viewed her time better spent throwing tantrums over the left’s failure to sneak in socialism, rather than focusing on a hurting nation.

What Happens Now?

Despite AOC’s temper tantrum, the coronavirus relief bill did, in fact, pass the House and receive a presidential signature. This provides at least some semblance of aid to Americans as the country grapples with COVID-19.

At this time, the fight remains far from over; as of yesterday, the president actually lengthened CDC social distancing guidelines to last until at least April 30. Americans should also continue expecting regular updates from the White House’s coronavirus task force.
