As Democrats continue their attacks on Second Amendment rights and lawful gun owners, they are now pushing the inane narrative that AR-15 owners are hunters of fellow human beings, according to Townhall.
The Latest Attack on the Second Amendment
The left has now been tragically reduced to dehumanizing Americans who choose to lawfully exercise their Second Amendment rights. During an appearance on MSNBC, newfound liberal activist David Hogg slammed AR-15 gun owners and baselessly accused them of hunting humans:
“The truth of the matter is weapons like the AR-15 have an effective range of over 1,500 meters. If you’re using a weapon with an effective range of over 1,500 meters, you are not defending yourself. You are hunting a human being.”
Hogg additionally informed the American people that he and his anti-gun allies are pushing for legislation which would disallow “assault weapons” in the state of Florida. As conservatives have always known, the left is gradually chipping away at the liberties, freedoms, and rights which make this country great.
The Danger of Banning Guns
Logic, laws, and history have repeatedly proven that gun control is ineffective and perilous. Dangerous criminals who truly do hunt human beings are not going to abide by legislation which Hogg and other liberals are pushing for. As a matter of fact, ‘gun-free zones’ are a beacon to individuals who are looking to commit crimes because they know that none of their potential victims will be armed.
Sadly, Democrats have yet to accept this reality. This is why it is imperative for Republicans and conservatives to continue defending and fighting for the Second Amendment.
