The Democrats have adopted an almost cult-like worship of face masks. Over the course of this year, leftists have shamed, harassed, and even confronted or attacked individuals for not wearing masks.
Americans who lean left-of-center are also more likely than not to back mandatory mask orders. This comes in spite of the questionable “science” behind masking to stop COVID-19 and the fact that states with strict mask ordinances are still suffering from case increases.

Democrats have furthermore chosen to ignore the health consequences known as “mask mouth” that dentists are reporting stem from ongoing, habitual masking.
Joe Biden has made very clear that should he win this year’s election, he will use the Oval Office to push masking. Per Newsmax, Biden will push for “just 100 days” of Americans wearing face coverings.

Biden on the Almighty Face Mask

While speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper yesterday, Biden articulated his position on face coverings. He stated that he’d ask Americans to mask up for 100 days of his presidency and mandate face coverings in federal buildings and for folks using interstate transportation.
The former vice president also declared that he’s already spoken with the controversial Dr. Fauci and urged him to continue serving as an “expert” on infectious diseases.

Biden’s promise to call for Americans to mask up for “just 100 days” isn’t believed by many Americans. It is eerily reminiscent of the “15 days to stop the spread” talking points that the government put out months ago. Yet, “15 days to stop the spread” quickly morphed into repeated shutdowns, loss of businesses, mask mandates, and talk of forced COVID-19 vaccinations.

Would Biden Have the Power to Mandate Masks Nationwide?

Earlier in the 2020 presidential election, Biden repeatedly spoke of a nationwide mask mandate. However, he also went back-and-forth on the constitutional legality of such a measure.
It turns out that Biden will not have the power to force the country to mask up; however, the former vice president has indicated that he’ll contact state and local leaders to pressure them into instating mask ordinances.

Similarly to lockdowns, mask mandates are becoming more and more unpopular as time passes. Amid the news that Biden will urge Americans to wear masks for “just 100 days” if he’s in the White House, many folks took to social media and stated that they would not mask up.
