Joe Biden has been in the White House as president for a little over one month now. Already, he’s taken steps meant to please the far-left base of the Democrat Party; meanwhile, Americans who are adversely impacted by Biden’s policies are forced to deal with the fallout.
During last year’s presidential election, Republicans warned that Biden would only govern as a puppet for the interests of the radical left.
Americans are already seeing this play out. Since becoming president, Biden’s ignored the CDC’s green light to reopen schools as a means of staying in the good graces of leftist teachers’ unions; likewise, the 46th president is responsible for killing thousands of energy jobs in order to appease extreme environmentalists.
Now, Breitbart News is reporting that most American voters perceive Biden as the puppet of the radical left.
The Puppet-in-Chief
According to a recent Rasmussen Reports survey, 54% of voters view Biden as a “puppet of the radical left,” rather than the nice moderate leftist he claims to be. Only 40% of surveyed voters disagreed with this sentiment, while 6% claimed that they were uncertain one way or the other.

Rasmussen Reports’ findings on this issue maintain deep ties to party lines. 82% of Republicans stated that Biden is the radical left’s puppet, although, only 27% of Democrats share this same outlook. Interestingly enough, however, 54% of unaffiliated U.S. voters sided with the GOP regarding this outlook on the Democrat president.
Most Republicans and a minority of Democrats also agreed that the radical left has too much power and influence over the 46th president.
The Policy Factor
Voters’ aforementioned outlooks on Biden are largely due to his policies and manners of governing. For starters, the current Democrat president signed more executive orders in his first two weeks in office than multiple presidents before him. Likewise, Biden speaks of bipartisanship, yet refuses to seriously compromise with the GOP.
It's clear the Biden Administration's policy is "follow the teachers unions"—not "follow the science."

Put simply, Biden’s actions make clear that the radical left pulls his strings. In any other scenario, the president wouldn’t stand in the way of opening up schools, especially after the CDC cleared it; however, Biden is more concerned about upsetting left-wing teachers’ unions than he is with ensuring that children have the necessary social development and education.
