Generally, when people read the news, they expect to read about something outlandish, crazy, tragic or all of the above. However, every now and again, there are amazing things in this world which happen and get picked up by the press.
That’s precisely what transpired this past weekend when a man went viral by miraculously saving two small children from what could have been a horrific sledding accident, reports The Daily Caller News Foundation.
An Overview of the Miraculous Save
What started out as just another fun sledding adventure for two small kids appeared to be heading towards disaster as a speeding sled quickly approached in their direction. However, this is the point in which the miracle happened! Seemingly out of nowhere, a man swooped in and managed to pull both children out of the line of fire in the nick of time!
Thankfully, the incident was caught on video and it’s quite a sight to behold!

In a world which seems to be getting crazier with each passing day, it can be nice to read about something with a semblance of goodness and civility.
The Lesson to Be Learned
No matter how dark and scary the world may seem, there is definitely light and there are certainly positive things to be aware of. The press has a tendency to pick up some of the worst and most outrageous news sometimes, but that does not mean that there are not great things and great people which still exist.
At the end of the day, our quality of life depends upon what we choose to focus on. This doesn’t mean putting blinders on, but rather being aware that there are two sides to life and more than what the news typically portrays.
